Qualifications

• Diploma in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in fast-paced communications, media, marketing or PR environments.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling with ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience creating and managing digital content, websites and social media.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to deliver strategic communication and stakeholder engagement across Council projects.
• Create compelling content across media, digital, social, advertising and community engagement channels.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, community groups, media and project teams.
• Identify opportunities to tell compelling stories and elevate the region's profile.
• Collaborate in a supportive, high-performing team focused on community impact.
