Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council in Dubbo is seeking a Communications Services Partner to lead strategic communication and stakeholder engagement across a diverse range of projects and services. You will shape content across media, digital content and campaigns, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders and communities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in fast-paced communications, media, marketing or PR environments.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling with ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience creating and managing digital content, websites and social media.

As a Communications Partner, you'll work on a diverse range of projects that make a visible impact across our region. From community engagement initiatives and major projects to media, digital content and campaigns, you'll have the opportunity to build your skills, broaden your experience and help tell the stories that matter.

• Creating compelling content across media, digital, social, advertising and community engagement channels that informs and connects with our community.
• Building trusted relationships with stakeholders, community groups, media representatives and project teams to achieve positive communication outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to tell great stories, showcase Council's impact and elevate the profile of the region through creative and innovative communications
• Working as part of a supportive, high-performing team that values collaboration, learning and a genuine connection to the community we serve

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A Diploma in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced communications, media, marketing or public relations environment
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with an ability to tailor communications to different audiences
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and provide communication advice.
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing digital content, websites and social media platforms.

We would also love you to have:

• Experience in designing and implementing stakeholder engagement programs or activities.
• Experience in media management including ability to facilitate positive media opportunities.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $91,698 to $106,566 plus superannuation.
