Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking a Procurement Partner to support the Project Management Office across major infrastructure and procurement initiatives in the Dubbo region. You'll identify the best suppliers, manage tendering, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver community outcomes.

This role offers a 35-hour week, salary between $100,399 and $116,679 AUD plus superannuation, and flexible salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• A degree in Legal, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated procurement and contract experience including purchasing, tendering and contract management.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies within a complex organisation.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills with ability to build stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving and time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement activities across major infrastructure projects and strategic procurement initiatives.
• Identify best suppliers, contractors and procurement solutions to deliver community outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from diverse business areas to translate needs into procurement outcomes.
• Drive best practice procurement across Council and ensure governance and compliance.
