Job summary

North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation, Mackay preferred with Brisbane considered, seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial Development & Strategy to lead major customer relationships, high-value contracts and service agreements, and drive long-term commercial development and market intelligence.

Reporting to the General Manager Commercial & Corporate Affairs, you will shape corporate strategy, engage with government and executives, and guide a multidisciplinary team across assets to progress complex

Qualifications

Experience with major agreements and negotiations in a commercially complex sector.
Strong forecasting, pricing and commercial modelling capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex commercial, policy and market issues to executives and government.

Responsibilities

Own significant commercial relationships, negotiations, renewals, variations and pricing decisions.
Lead longer-term development opportunities from concept through to business case and agreement.
Influence organisational strategy in partnership with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board.
Engage directly with customers, service providers, industry and government stakeholders.
Lead trade forecasting, pricing analysis, commercial modelling and market intelligence.
Lead a multidisciplinary team and build its capability and focus.
