Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is seeking a College Timetabler (Teaching) to lead the timetabling function while continuing as a substantive teacher. The role supports the Middle and Senior Schools with strategic planning, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality student outcomes.

The successful candidate will work closely with College leaders, teaching staff and the Operations Team to ensure accurate timetabling, efficient workload distribution and robust data

Qualifications

• Registered and experienced teacher.
• Experience in school timetabling or operations preferred.
• Ability to coordinate staff and resources.
• Strong data management and reporting.
• Commitment to child safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain the College timetable.
• Strategic allocation of staff and physical resources.
• Manage daily staff absences and replacement arrangements.
• Maintain student data and support subject selection and reporting.
• Prepare and communicate supervision and duty rosters.
• Monitor workload allocation and identify operational risks.
• Support regulatory compliance and child safety requirements.
• Collaborate to optimise learning outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Training/experience in timetabling at a school is an asset.
