Job summary

• Drive assessment and moderation processes when developing new programs.
• Lead and innovate within a specified curriculum area.
• Engage stakeholders to foster collaboration and transparency.
• Take responsibility for a financial budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead student timetabling for the school.
• Oversee curriculum development, implementation and evaluation across the school.
• Apply learning research to classroom practice through whole-school PD and targeted support.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders and Senior Leadership to review curricula and plan future directions.
• Lead teacher performance through professional dialogue, reflection and appraisal.
• Stay current with curriculum and pedagogy developments and guide whole-school PD.
• Provide induction and mentoring for beginning teachers in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
• Supervise student learning using data and implement strategic interventions.
• Contribute to school leadership through participation in meetings.
• Manage curriculum area budget and resources including planning and expenditure.
