Job summary

RSGx is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team in Sydney. The role partners with senior leaders to drive growth, enhance financial performance, and support strategic decisions. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, leadership capability and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.

You will lead finance functions, manage cash flow, reporting and audits while shaping financial strategy for renewables projects and new growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA with senior finance leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong governance, tax, treasury and compliance knowledge.
• Proven ability to present to Boards and executives.
• Experience leading finance functions in medium to large organisations.
• Ability to translate financial data into strategy and decisions.
• MBA/postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the executive leadership team.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth.
• Manage cash flow, treasury and capital management.
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Oversee governance, internal controls and risk management.
• Lead statutory accounts and annual audits.
• Monitor performance through financial analysis and KPIs.
• Evaluate investments, projects, M&A, and growth initiatives.
• Support contract reviews and strategic planning.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
