Job summary

Talent Capital Partners Ltd. seeks a Group Financial Controller for a Renewable Energy & Infrastructure portfolio in Sydney. This senior role covers group reporting, consolidations, FP&A, tax, and audit across development, financing, construction and operations.

You will work with CFO, senior management and project teams, delivering timely financial insight and ensuring strong governance with a hybrid work setup in Sydney CBD.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior finance leadership roles such as Group Financial Controller, Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
• Strong hands-on expertise in group reporting, consolidation and statutory financial statements.
• Solid knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards / IFRS.
• Experience with debt reporting, project finance and lender reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting and statutory requirements.
• Oversee consolidations, month-end and year-end close processes and statutory statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning with strategic insights.
• Manage accounting policies and complex transactions across project structures and financing.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity forecasting, treasury and banking arrangements.
• Own project debt reporting, lender reporting, covenants and debt servicing.
• Support CFO on project finance facilities, refinancing and equity funding.
• Lead external audit, statutory statements and group tax compliance.
• Drive improvements in controls, reporting, systems and data quality.
