Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Melbourne is seeking a Business Development Manager for Cleardocs. The role blends inside and field selling to own the full sales cycle, targeting new logos and expanding revenue within strategic accounts.

You will engage senior decision-makers across corporate, legal, tax, accounting, and government sectors, with a strong emphasis on growth in finance, SMSF, and professional services. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional field sales or SaaS business development role.
• Accounting knowledge / qualifications preferred, and/or experience working in the accounting / corporate secretarial OR B2B sales to professionals.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Cleardocs sales targets and Book of Business.
• Generate new business in defined territories/segments from prospecting through close.
• Expand revenue in existing accounts via upsell and cross-sell with client teams.
• Build senior client relationships and position the right solutions.
• Work qualified leads and create a self-generated pipeline for closures.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide customer feedback for product strategy.
