Dematic Pty Ltd, a global leader in logistics automation, seeks a motivated Business Development Manager for our Mobile Automation team. You will nurture strategic customer relationships, grow service and automation sales, and develop value-driven solutions that meet customer and Dematic goals.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, pipeline development, and delivering sustainable value throughout the customer lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience in solution sales or strategic account management.
Strong ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Commercial acumen balancing customer outcomes with business goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Degree in engineering/technical field.

Responsibilities

Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key stakeholders across all levels, embedding Dematic as the long-term partner.
Build a deep understanding of customer operations, objectives and future challenges to identify growth opportunities.
Grow Service Sales, Lifecycle Services and Automation Sales with a strong pipeline.
Collaborate with Service Manager, Senior Solution Development & Design Manager and Solutions team to propose competitive service, AGV and automation solutions.
Act as voice of the customer, sharing market trends and insights across the business.
Maintain oversight of opportunities from initial engagement to delivery and ongoing support.
