Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to support the Mobile Automation team in Sydney. You will nurture strategic customer relationships, identify opportunities for Service Sales and Lifecycle Services, and develop value-driven automation solutions while representing the Dematic brand to the highest standards.

The role focuses on building trust, expanding partnerships, and delivering sustainable outcomes for customers and Dematic, with a base salary and no commission

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution sales, business development or strategic account management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across functions.
• Engineering background with commercial mindset and OH&S awareness.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted representative of the Dematic brand with professionalism and customer engagement.
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key stakeholders to embed Dematic.
• Identify opportunities for Service Sales, Lifecycle Services and Automation Sales.
• Grow a robust pipeline of service and automation opportunities with customers.
• Collaborate with service, engineering and design teams to propose value-driven solutions.
• Ensure long-term customer retention through proactive engagement and planning.
