Job summary

Shift is seeking a driven Business Development Manager in Australia to expand our broker network within the Commercial/Asset Finance sector. You will lead relationship-building activities, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to brand growth while representing Shift at industry events.

The role emphasizes strong communication, stakeholder management, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets, with a flexible, hybrid work policy based in North Sydney.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales/BDM or related field.
• Proven ability to build and sustain broker network relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales acumen and track record of achieving targets.
• Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop quarterly and annual sales plans to hit regional targets.
• Activate and nurture broker relationships, onboarding new brokers.
• Train and support growth of brokers in the network.
• Represent Shift at industry events to build market presence.
• Foster long-term partnerships with brokers and key sales personnel.
• Elevate Shift’s brand awareness across the region.
• Stay informed on market trends to inform strategy.
