Job summary

Ampersand is seeking a BD Coordinator to join the Sydney team and collaborate with lawyers, partners and the national BD, Marketing & Communications function.

No prior law-firm BD experience is required; candidates from events, marketing, communications or professional services are encouraged to apply. Hybrid work setup with Django-like flexibility in Sydney.

The role offers exposure to tenders, client events, social content and strategic BD initiatives across Sydney and Brisbane offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in BD/marketing support roles is preferred in professional services.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects (tenders, events, communications) under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses for tenders and proposals, assembling statements of capability and CVs.
• Support events from small client dinners to conferences and learning events.
• Contribute to content for social media, LinkedIn, and firm profiles.
• Assist with website content and lawyer/partner profiles to highlight the firm’s expertise.
• Work with lawyers and partners to understand priorities and support growth in client and practice areas.
• Keep projects moving, manage deadlines, and ensure detail accuracy.
