Job summary

You’ll join a genuinely global law firm in Perth on a 12-month contract as a BD & Marketing Executive, gaining hands-on experience across bids, client development, events, thought leadership and campaigns. This role sits close to partners and a senior BD leader, offering exposure beyond traditional coordination and a path toward strategic BD within professional services.

Responsibilities

• Bids & tenders – coordinating and contributing to major pitches and tenders, developing compelling responses and bringing together credentials, case studies, CVs and capability statements
• Partner engagement – working directly with partners to understand their priorities and turn ideas into practical BD and marketing activity
• Client development – supporting client and sector plans, relationship activity and initiatives designed to strengthen existing relationships and identify new opportunities
• Events – helping organise client dinners, networking events, seminars, conferences and other thought leadership activities from concept through to delivery
• Thought leadership – working with lawyers to develop content and supporting campaigns that bring the firm's expertise to market
• Marketing & communications – contributing to LinkedIn, website content, lawyer profiles, credentials and other marketing collateral
• Campaigns – helping develop and execute targeted campaigns around key sectors, practices, clients and areas of expertise
• Coordination & delivery – keeping projects moving, managing deadlines and making sure everything is delivered to a high standard
• You’ll get exposure to the full BD mix rather than being confined to one particular area
