Job summary

Mai-Wel Limited in the Hunter Region seeks a commercially astute Commercial Manager to lead property, infrastructure, ICT and fleet across the organisation. Reporting to the COO, the role shapes and optimises assets and services to support sustainable growth.

You will drive governance, procurement and risk management, lead cross-functional teams, and foster continuous improvement while aligning corporate objectives with the not-for-profit mission.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and ability to lead portfolios and improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing property, infrastructure, ICT, fleet, governance and risk functions.
• Budgeting, asset planning and operational performance experience.
• Contracts, procurement and vendor relationship management experience.
• Governance, risk, compliance and assurance framework experience.
• Ability to lead teams and foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• NFP experience in medium to large organisations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and optimisation of Mai-Wel's property, infrastructure, ICT and fleet portfolio.
• Deliver on strategic property portfolio with cross-functional team engagement.
• Oversee assets, infrastructure investment and technology services to support sustainable growth.
• Lead ICT service delivery including internal teams and external partners.
• Drive governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities.
• Lead procurement, contract management and strategic supplier relationships.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Partner with stakeholders to strengthen governance, systems, processes and capability.
