Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking an Asset Strategy Planner to support the Strategic Asset Management function. You will develop Asset Management Plans, lifecycle investment strategies, renewal forecasts and long-term works programs across Council's asset portfolio.

You will analyse asset condition, performance, risk, demand and lifecycle costs to support evidence-based planning recommendations and funding decisions, working with asset custodians, Finance and project teams to translate data

Qualifications

• Experience developing Asset Management Plans and long-term asset planning strategies.
• Sound understanding of lifecycle planning, risk, levels of service and long-term investment planning.
• Ability to analyse asset condition, performance, risk, criticality and lifecycle cost information to support planning recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve Asset Management Plans, lifecycle plans and renewal forecasts.
• Support long-term works programs across Council's asset portfolio.
• Collaborate with asset custodians, Finance and project teams to translate asset information into investment priorities.
• Communicate findings clearly in plain English and explain technical information to diverse stakeholders.
