Job summary

Fire & Rescue NSW is seeking a Strategic Asset Management Officer on a temporary full-time basis at Greenacre Headquarters. The role focuses on developing and implementing asset management frameworks, policies, and tools to support short and long term infrastructure strategies.

You will work with the Manager Strategic Assets to improve asset management maturity across FRNSW and contribute to ongoing improvements while enjoying hybrid arrangements and a supportive workplace culture.

Strategic Asset Management Officer (Temporary)

• Strategic Asset Management, Temporary Full Time


• Up to 9 months


• Package up to $166,549.74 pa. Package includes salary range ($133,348 pa to $146,945 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading


• Greenacre Headquarters - three days per week, with two days working from home under hybrid arrangements

About the role:

The Strategic Asset Management Officer works closely with the Manager Strategic Assets to develop and implement asset management frameworks, policies, processes, plans and the associated Asset Management Information Systems and tools to support department infrastructure strategies – long and short term, and contribute to the continual improvement of asset management maturity for FRNSW.

About you:

• In this role, you will support the Manager Strategic Assets to develop and implement asset management frameworks, policies, processes, plans, systems and tools. You will also contribute to short- and long-term infrastructure strategies and help improve asset management maturity across FRNSW.


• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience.
