Job summary

Fire and Rescue NSW is seeking a Manager Digital and Social Media to lead audience-driven digital media strategies that support our mission to protect lives, property, and the environment. You will manage a specialised team responsible for digital, social media and broadcast content, including operating the FRNSW Media Centre for live and pre-recorded production.

The role oversees multi-channel content that informs, engages, and empowers the public while ensuring brand integrity and alignment.

Qualifications

• Proven record of achievement leading digital and social media in a complex communication environment.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver digital frameworks and content.
• Understanding of contemporary broadcast and content production across live, pre-recorded, video and audio formats.
• Tertiary Qualifications or extensive relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job description

• Temporary Full Time for up to seven months with possible extension
• Package up to $202,166 pa. Package includes salary range ($154,231 pa to $178,369 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
• Offices based in Greenacre and Alexandria

About the role:

The Manager Digital and Social Media will lead impactful, audience-driven digital media strategies that support the agency's mission to protect lives, property, and the environment. You will manage a specialised team responsible for digital, social media and broadcast content, including the operation of the FRNSW Media Centre for live and pre-recorded broadcast and video production. The role oversees the delivery of multi-channel content that informs, engages, and empowers the public while ensuring brand integrity and strategic alignment.
