Job summary

Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) is seeking a Strategic Advisor to support the implementation of legislative reforms and to assist the Executive Director Operations. You will deliver high-level strategic, policy and advisory support, shaping organisational direction and addressing emerging strategic risks in a dynamic public integrity environment.

You will lead complex projects, influence senior stakeholders, and represent IBAC in internal and external forums, including

Qualifications

Experience providing executive-level strategic advice and policy input.
Ability to shape and influence strategic direction within government contexts.
Proven capability to lead cross‑agency, multidisciplinary projects.
Strong written and verbal communication for high-level briefings and submissions.
Experience engaging with senior executives and external partners.

Responsibilities

Provide authoritative strategic advice on operational priorities and governance matters.
Lead and coordinate complex strategic projects aligned with organisational objectives.
Partner with senior executives to influence priorities and support decision-making.
Represent the Executive Director – Operations in high-level forums and forums with government taskforces.
