Job summary

Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Policy and Research Officer to join our Prevention Policy & Research team on a full-time ongoing basis. You will undertake strategic policy development, complex research and analysis to prepare authoritative reports and advice on corruption and police misconduct issues.

Qualifications

Highly developed research, conceptual and analytical skills.
High-level written and verbal communication, including policy and briefing.
Strong critical thinking and judgement, with the ability to develop practical responses to complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality authoritative reports and develop appropriate recommendations for policy, system or practice change to assist corruption prevention.
Undertake research and complex analysis across a range of information systems.
Provide analysis and advice to senior management on the policy and strategic implications of initiatives and proposals.
Plan and manage projects on policy and research issues and ensure project objectives are met in a timely way.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to inform policy development and achieve outcomes.
