Job summary

All Hallows’ School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls in Years 5–12, seeks an experienced and highly organised educational leader to join as Head of Academic Operations. This Tier 5 Middle Leadership role combines classroom teaching with responsibility for academic processes, systems and workflows that support teaching, learning and academic care.

Reporting to the Dean of Student Learning and Data, you will oversee assessment, reporting, timetables and data workflows, while building strong

• Strong knowledge of contemporary assessment, feedback and reporting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of key academic operations, including assessment, reporting, exams, and timetables.
• Develop and review efficient workflows across Years 5–12.
• Coordinate student reporting, exam blocks, Year 12 practice, and external exams.
• Oversee systems and data processes relating to reporting, roll marking and attendance.
• Provide guidance and professional learning on academic processes and systems.
• Build collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents and school teams.
• Undertake classroom teaching commensurate with this middle leadership position.
