Job summary

Suncorp Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Specialist Lines Strata team. You will manage and underwrite a portfolio of Strata business, including new business, renewals and policy adjustments, while delivering commercially focused insurance solutions.

In this role you will build strong relationships with brokers and customers, assess risks, and collaborate with internal partners to support portfolio growth and steady performance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in Strata underwriting.
• Commercial Strata underwriting experience is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Strata business, including new and renewal policies.
• Assess risks and make sound underwriting decisions aligned with objectives and risk appetite.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and key stakeholders.
• Deliver responsive, solution-focused service to customers and intermediaries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support portfolio growth and performance.
