Job summary

Strahan Village, part of NRMA Tasmania, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Grounds & Maintenance Attendants and oversee day-to-day operations of the property. Reporting to the Group Maintenance Manager and collaborating with the General Manager, you will ensure buildings, plant and guest areas are maintained to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality maintenance or facilities management.
• Leadership or supervisory experience, with ability to lead and develop teams.
• Strong knowledge maintaining buildings, plant and equipment.
• Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance programs.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work autonomously.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Grounds & Maintenance Attendants to high standards.
• Coordinate daily maintenance and grounds activities.
• Prioritise, delegate tasks to maximise productivity and meet deadlines.
• Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance across buildings and plant.
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting in guest areas.
• Assist with building projects, renovations and major repairs.
• Manage contractors on-site and maintain service records.
• Monitor resources, equipment and inventory to support operations.
• Oversee rosters, attendance and payroll processes.
