Job summary

Respect Group Limited operates Eliza Purton Home in Ulverstone, Tasmania, seeking a part-time Maintenance Services Assistant to support maintenance, grounds and safety across the home. You will help keep a clean, welcoming environment for residents and staff and join a supportive aged care team.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and gardening experience.
• Genuine interest in working in aged care.
• Good communication skills.
• Well-developed customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload.
• Relevant trade background highly regarded, but not essential.
• Current National Police Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support preventative and corrective maintenance across the home, buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Work as part of a supportive aged care team.
