Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for Strahan Village on Tasmania's west coast. You’ll lead a team of Grounds & Maintenance Attendants, coordinate daily maintenance activities and drive preventative maintenance programs to keep guest areas and facilities in top condition.

You’ll collaborate with leadership to plan repairs, manage contractors and ensure safety and compliance while maintaining service standards for guests and staff in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hospitality maintenance, facilities management or similar role.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of buildings, plant and equipment maintenance.
• Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance programs.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Grounds & Maintenance Attendants to deliver high standards across the property.
• Coordinate and participate in daily maintenance and grounds activities.
• Organise, prioritise and delegate tasks to maximise productivity and meet deadlines.
• Schedule, monitor and complete preventative maintenance programs across buildings, plant and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting across guest rooms and facilities.
• Assist with building projects, renovations and major repairs, including basic plumbing and painting.
• Manage contractors on-site and maintain records for essential services.
