Job summary

Urban Utilities in South East Queensland is seeking a Project Manager to plan and deliver the STP maintenance program across our treatment plants. You will collaborate with maintenance delivery partners and internal stakeholders to keep programs on schedule and risks managed.

Reporting to the Maintenance Program Leader, you will oversee performance, budgets and compliance, with opportunities to lead minor capital projects.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ project or program management experience.
• Experience working in a heavily regulated industry with statutory obligations.
• Degree in project management or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering projects or programs on time and to budget.
• A systematic approach to risk and a genuine commitment to health, safety and wellbeing.
• Experience managing contracted service providers, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group including Operations, Asset Management, Health and Safety and Capital Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of STP maintenance by delivery partners, ensuring compliance with processes, KPIs and standards.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, deliverables and defect rectification, acting as escalation point for issue resolution.
• Support STPs with special activities (e.g. yearly CAMBI shut down).
• Track program performance, budget and expenditure, reporting on trends, risks and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
• Apply assurance and audit frameworks to maintenance activity, identifying non-conformances and driving corrective action with the delivery partner.
