Job summary

RecruitShop is aiding a market-leading stormwater solutions provider in recruiting a senior sales professional to drive growth across civil, water and infrastructure sectors in New South Wales.

The role focuses on developing strategies, building council and utility relationships, and securing new business opportunities while promoting stormwater treatment, harvesting, and maintenance solutions. You will support tender submissions and provide technical input to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical or engineered solutions sales.
• Strong understanding of civil drainage and water infrastructure sectors.
• Experience developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
• Strong business development and sales strategy capability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with councils, utilities, or infrastructure asset owners (advantageous).
• Knowledge of stormwater maintenance and asset management (advantageous).
• Experience with MUSIC, DRAINS, or TUFLOW software (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across NSW.
• Building and maintaining relationships with councils, contractors, utilities, and asset owners.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across civil and infrastructure sectors.
• Promoting stormwater treatment, harvesting, and maintenance solutions.
• Managing sales pipelines and converting opportunities into profitable projects.
• Supporting tender submissions and project development activities.
• Providing technical input and specialist support throughout project delivery.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Maintaining strong industry knowledge and awareness of market trends.
