Job summary

The Reef Hotel Casino Cairns is seeking a Store Person to join our Purchasing Team, handling stock deliveries, storage and accurate administration for beverage and general requisitions across the complex.

Ideal candidates will have recent stores/purchasing experience in a hotel or supermarket environment, be computer-literate, and demonstrate accurate documentation and stock control understanding. Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.

We are currently seeking a Store Person at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.

A great opportunity for a physically fit and experienced Store Person to join our Purchasing Team.

Key Responsibilities

Receive deliveries of stock which arrive through the dock, check the quality and quantity, then store in the correct manner ensuring all administration is processed.

Complete all beverage/general requisitions, which are delivered to the Outlets throughout the Complex.

Liaise with managers, supervisors, and line staff in all departments daily.

Ensure inventory supplies are sufficient to meet the property’s operational requirements.

Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded on a timely basis.

Criteria

Previous experience in a stores/purchasing position in a hotel or supermarket environment.
