Job summary

Dahlsens Building Centres Pty invites applications for a Storeperson at our Atherton store. You will handle goods inwards, stock organisation, customer support and assistance across store operations.

We value a practical, hands-on approach, strong safety focus and attention to detail. A forklift licence is a bonus, and experience in hardware/building trades is helpful though not essential. Join a strong team in a growing business across Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and process incoming stock accurately and on time.
• Help ensure customer orders are ready in full and on time.
• Complete branch transfers correctly and follow company processes.
• Keep the store clean, safe and easy to work in.
• Support logistics, loading and general store tasks when needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded team member to join our busy Atherton store. In this hands‑on Store Person role you’ll be responsible for all goods inwards / receivable, you’ll help keep the store running smoothly by receiving and organising stock, supporting customers, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Receiving, checking and processing incoming stock accurately and on time
• Helping make sure customer orders are ready in full and on time
• Completing branch transfers correctly and following company processes
• Keeping the store clean, safe and easy to work in
• Pitching in with logistics, loading and general store support when needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Someone who takes safety seriously and looks out for teammates and customers

• A practical, hands‑on approach and confidence with manual handling and lifting
• Experience in hardware or the building industry would be great, but it’s not essential
• Good attention to detail and pride in getting things right
• A current LF forklift licence would be a bonus
