Job summary

Circuit Recruitment Group in Melbourne is seeking a Retail Technology Coordinator for a 12-month contract. You will ensure new stores launch with technology in place, coordinating between store development, retail operations, tech teams and vendors.

You will manage deployments, schedule field technicians, line up POS, EFTPOS and network gear, and keep asset records accurate while improving rollout processes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating tech deployments or store projects.
• Background in retail or multisite, fast-paced projects.
• Strong planning and scheduling across multiple projects.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers, technicians or freight providers.
• Accurate asset/serial-number record keeping.
• Proficient use of Excel for tracking assets and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tech deployments for new openings, refits, relocations and closures.
• Lock in site requirements, dates and milestones with project teams.
• Arrange POS, EFTPOS, handhelds, printers, network gear and comms for each site.
• Manage ordering, staging, freight and timely delivery.
• Schedule field technicians, carriers and suppliers.
• Run hardware refresh programs with minimal trading impact.
• Track risks, dependencies and long lead items; raise early.
• Maintain deployment, asset records; ensure recovery or disposal.
• Verify vendor work with handover evidence before sign-off.
• Improve rollout checklists and processes after each project.

Retail Technology Coordinator

Contract - 12 Months

$400-$550 p/d

About the opportunity:

A national retailer with a growing store footprint needs a Store Technology Coordinator to make sure every new store opens with its technology in place and working. You'll be the link between store development, retail operations, the tech team and a network of vendors and field techs. You'll keep openings, refits and refresh programs on schedule without getting in the way of trading.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating the technology side of new store openings, refits, relocations and closures
• Locking in site requirements, dates and milestones with store development and project teams
• Lining up POS, EFTPOS, handhelds, printers, network gear and comms services for each site
• Managing ordering, staging, freight and delivery so kit lands in the right place on time
• Scheduling and directing field technicians, carriers and suppliers
• Running hardware refresh programs across the store network with minimal impact on trading
• Tracking risks, dependencies and long lead items and raising them earlyKeeping deployment, serial number and asset records accurate
• Making sure old equipment is recovered, reused or securely disposed of
• Confirming vendor work is complete, with handover evidence, before sign off
• Improving rollout checklists, schedules and processes after every project

What we need to see:

• Experience coordinating tech deployments, store projects, field services or similar operational delivery
• Background in retail, multisite, construction, logistics or another fast paced project environment
• Strong planning and scheduling across several projects at once
• Proven experience managing suppliers, technicians or freight providers
• High accuracy with asset or serial number records
• Confidence with Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Strong communication and a practical, customer focused approach

Bonus points:

• Store opening, refit or retail lifecycle program experience
• Knowledge of POS, EFTPOS, Zebra handhelds and store networks
• Jira Service Management or asset management tools
• Exposure to AP21 or other retail systems
• A qualification in IT, project coordination or logistics
