Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in North Lakes, QLD, is seeking a Store Manager for the brand-new store opening in October. You will lead a five-person team, build the culture from opening day, and create an energetic customer experience in sport, streetwear and licensed fashion.

You’ll recruit, coach and motivate, drive performance, and ensure stock, merchandising and daily operations run smoothly on day one and beyond.

About the Client

Our client is an international specialty retailer sitting at the intersection of sport, streetwear and licensed fashion, with a product range built around some of the world’s most recognisable sporting teams and cultural influences.

With a brand-new North Lakes store opening in October, they are looking for a Store Manager to lead the launch, build the team and create a high-energy store environment from day one.

Whether you’re a seasoned Store Manager who genuinely loves the product category or a newer Store Manager at the beginning of your leadership journey, there is flexibility to consider the right person.

About the role

Leading a team of approximately five, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day performance and culture of the store.

You will:

• Recruit, lead, coach and motivate a new retail team
• Help establish the store culture from opening day
• Create an energetic and engaging customer experience
• Drive performance and keep the team focused on daily goals
• Maintain strong visual merchandising and presentation standards
• Manage stock, replenishment and day-to-day store operations

What you’ll bring

• Previous retail leadership experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or strong 2IC
• Confidence leading, motivating and developing a small team
• A hands‑on approach and love of being on the shop floor
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good operational capability across stock, merchandising and daily store routines
• Energy, personality and the ability to create a great team environment
• A genuine interest in sport, streetwear, sneakers, fashion or pop culture will be highly regarded

We’re open to different levels of experience. You could be an accomplished Store Manager looking for a fun product category and fresh challenge, or an emerging Store Manager looking for the opportunity to put your own stamp on a store.
