Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets in Rockhampton is seeking a motivated Store Manager in Training for our Glenmore store. You will work under the Store Manager to gain hands-on experience in leading teams, ordering, rostering, stock takes and day-to-day store operations.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced supermarket environment. Training and progression opportunities are offered to develop future store leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery and fresh food retail.
• Ability to order and cost-control.
• Strong understanding of gross profit calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading store operations and achieving sales targets.
• Create accurate rosters, manage stock levels and place orders.

About this opportunity:

Our Glenmore store in Rockhampton is currently looking a motivated and hard working retail leader, to join and assist leading our store as a Store Manager in Training.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be given the necessary guidance and training to manage teams, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
