Job summary

Wattyl Australia Pty. is seeking a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager for the Browns Plains Store in a permanent full-time role.

You will lead daily store operations, ensure safety, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales growth while building strong relationships with customers, including tradespeople. The position requires hands-on leadership, effective communication, and a proactive approach to merchandising, stock control, and team development in a busy retail

Qualifications

Strong customer service background in a store environment such as hospitality or retail.
Demonstrated ability to manage retail store operations.
Solid knowledge of safety management and continuous improvement.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
Strong people management and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure Browns Plains store operates safely and effectively at all times.
Deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
Assist customers face to face and over the phone, communicating promotional activity and business needs.
Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and inbound goods.
Maintain visual merchandising and store presentations to required standards.
Lead and support a great team to provide an exceptional in-store customer experience.
