Wattyl Australia Pty. is seeking a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager for the Browns Plains Store in a permanent full-time role.

You will lead daily store operations, ensure safety, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales growth while building strong relationships with customers, including tradespeople. The position requires hands-on leadership, effective communication, and a proactive approach to merchandising, stock control, and team development in a busy retail

• Strong customer service background in a store environment such as hospitality or retail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage retail store operations.
• Solid knowledge of safety management and continuous improvement.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Strong people management and customer engagement skills.

Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager or an Assistant Store Manager to join our Browns Plains Store in a Permanent Full Time position.

As the Store Manager /Assistant Store Manager you will be:

Responsible for ensuring the Browns Plainsstore operates safely and effectively at all times

Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.

Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.

You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods

Using Pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling

Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.

In order to be considered you will have:

A strong Customer Service background in a store environment- hospitality, retail or similar

Demonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operations

Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement

An Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines

Strong skills in people management and customer engagement

This is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paint

We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience. Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs
