Wattyl Australia Pty. in North Lakes is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Assistant to join our North Lakes, Brendale & Morayfield stores in a casual all-rounder role. You will help customers, process sales, assist with tinting and mixing of paint, and support stock control.

This position is physical, with manual handling up to 28 kg and operation of basic warehousing equipment. Uniforms and training are provided, and above award rates apply.

Formación

• Customer service experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 28 kg and perform manual handling.
• Accurate cash handling and EFTPOS processing.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to customer queries and orders.
• Process sales accurately (cash handling/EFTPOS).
• Assist in tinting and mixing of paint.
• Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing goods.
• Use pallet jacks and walkie stackers for manual handling.
• Maintain a clean, tidy store environment.

You will be provided with uniforms, training and paidABOVE award rates!

Theopening hours are Monday to Saturday (NO nights)

As the Retail Sales Assistant you will:

• Attend to customer queries and orders
• Process sales accurately (cash handling/EFTPOS)
• Assist in the tinting and mixing of paint
• Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
• Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
• Help maintain a clean, tidy store environment

Do you have what we're looking for?

• Great Customer Service Skills
• Sales experience, ideally within a retail background
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices

This role is a physical position requiring manual handling up to 28kg and operating machinery as needed.
