Job summary

National Storage is seeking a Centre Manager for our Welshpool centre in WA. You will lead a team of Storage Consultants, work with neighbouring centres and the Operations Manager to keep performance high and customer experiences exceptional.

The role focuses on running a financially sound operation, mentoring your team, and promoting a welcoming, service‑driven environment. A two‑week rotating roster supports work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within a management or team leadership position in a similar environment.
• Experience in supporting development of your team, including managing performance as necessary.
• Conflict resolution experience and the ability to de-escalate situations.
• Proven ability in working towards and achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Proficiency in using technology and multitasking between different systems.
• Effective communication skills with the natural ability to foster a collaborative environment.
• A motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Overseeing operational excellence and actively managing centre operations, including centre presentation, daily cleaning and maintenance, general administration duties, security, access control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Providing weekly and monthly reports summarising the centre's financial performance directly to the Operations Manager.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the company's values and fosters teamwork, care, and excellence.

As the Centre Manager at our Welshpool centre, you will work together with Storage Consultants, neighbouring centre teams, and the Operations Manager to keep the centre performing at its best.

Enjoy a balanced schedule with our steady two-week rotating roster:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Saturday and Sunday rostered days off).

Week 2: Monday to Saturday rotation (Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm), Wednesday and Sunday rostered days off.

What you Bring to the Team

• A full unrestricted driver’s licence and accessible car (required).
• A forklift licence (desirable).
• Demonstrated experience within a management or team leadership position in a similar environment.
