Randstad partners with ALPA to recruit dedicated Store Manager Couples for remote Arnhem Land supermarkets in the Northern Territory. The role includes leading all store operations, mentoring local staff, and promoting healthier food choices within the community.

You will work closely with merchandising and nutrition teams to ensure stock integrity and high service standards, while engaging with community leaders to meet unique local needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail management.
• Background in high-volume retail and people development.
• Willingness to complete Certificate III in Retail within 12 months.

About your next role

As a Store Manager Couple, you will be the heart of the community, responsible for the successful operation of a remote supermarket while mentoring local talent.

• Oversee the daily operations and financial performance of ALPA supermarkets in remote settings

What we look for

• You are a resilient, culturally aware leadership duo with a background in high-volume retail and a passion for people development.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail management is desirable
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic retail systems, including POS, stock control, and staff scheduling
• Certificate III in Retail, or a genuine willingness to complete this qualification within your first 12 months
• High level of adaptability and the ability to thrive in remote or regional settings
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to cultural awareness
• Proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive positive community outcomes
