Job summary

Highgrove Bathrooms Pty is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Rockhampton retail showroom and drive sales, service excellence and team performance. You will balance leadership, operations and customer engagement in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach and develop team members, manage rosters, and ensure showroom standards while delivering a premium customer experience and compliant store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and team results
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confidence using POS systems, Microsoft Office and retail management systems
• Hands-on approach to supporting all areas of store operations
• Availability to work Saturdays as part of a roster

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store and showroom operations
• Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs
• Coach, mentor and develop team members
• Manage rosters, onboarding and team performance
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues
• Oversee stock control, stocktakes and inventory management
• Maintain high showroom presentation and merchandising standards
• Manage reporting, banking, budgeting and operational compliance
• Support warehouse and delivery operations where required
• Ensure compliance with WH&S policies and safe work practices

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands‑on Store Manager to lead our Rockhampton retail showroom. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys driving sales, developing teams, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading day-to-day store and showroom operations

Experience in bathroom, plumbing, hardware, renovation or interior retail will be highly regarded.

Physical requirements of the role

This role includes both showroom and operational responsibilities and involves regular standing, walking and manual handling tasks, including safely lifting and moving products up to 15–20kg.
