Job summary

Fossil is seeking an experienced Store Manager for our Moorabbin Airport DFO store in VIC. This full-time role oversees daily operations, drives sales, and delivers an exceptional customer experience while championing the Fossil brand.

You will lead a team of sales associates, coach performance, implement promotional strategies and ensure standards across health, safety, and store presentation. A strong background in luxury or consumer products retail is preferred.

About the role

Fossil is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail store at Moorabbin Airport DFO, VIC. This is a full time position where you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the store, driving sales performance, and creating an exceptional customer experience. As Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in representing the Fossil brand and achieving our commercial objectives whilst fostering a positive and productive team environment.

What you’ll be doing

Managing all aspects of store operations in alignment with global directives to maximise sales and visual appeal

Leading and motivating a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure high levels of customer service and sales achievement

Driving store sales targets and key performance indicators through effective sales strategies, promotional activities, and customer engagement

Maintaining store standards including health and safety compliance, cleanliness, and security protocols

Maintaining staffing schedules, recruitment, and onboarding of new team members

Building strong customer relationships and handling customer queries or complaints with professionalism and discretion

Analysing sales data and reporting on store performance to senior management, identifying areas for improvement

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Collaborating with head office teams on promotional campaigns, product launches, and merchandising initiatives

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in retail store management within the consumer products or luxury goods sector, ideally 3+ years in a similar role

Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators

Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to build lasting customer relationships

Sound knowledge of retail operations

Proficiency in using retail systems and point-of-sale software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Tuesday to Saturday Roster, flexibility required during peak times.

Knowledge of the Fossil brand and products is advantageous but not essential
