Job summary

QE Foodstores is seeking a Store Manager in Sydney to supervise daily operations, drive sales, and lead a team across multiple service areas. You will manage stock, oversee displays, and ensure exceptional customer service while aligning with promotional campaigns.

The role requires a Diploma in a relevant subject with 1+ year of experience or 3+ years in retail, strong communication, and knowledge of EA parameters. This position is permanent and full-time with an Australian business focus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant subject with at least one year of relevant work experience or three years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication skills and adept problem solvers.
• Working knowledge of Windows computers, essential programs, and performance metrics applications.
• Enterprise Agreement (EA) knowledge to guarantee proper and professional support parameters.
• Set reportable metrics to measure and maintain performance and health of the store's service department.
• Demonstrated ability and proven track record of effective marketing campaigns and employee management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all services to meet business needs and responsibilities for QE Foodstores.
• Stock management and ensuring stock availability, wastage control, and turnover.
• Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
• Oversee product displays to align with promotions and campaigns.
• Sell and market products to customers and manage service staff.
• Set reportable metrics to measure performance and health of the store.
• Recruit and train staff and provide feedback and performance reviews.
• Liaise with staff to address issues and educate on OHS responsibilities.
