Job summary

Vitrocsa Australia is seeking a Stock Officer to manage warehouse stock, componentry and consumables. This hands-on role requires on-site presence and strong computer skills to maintain real-time stock visibility and accuracy.

You will handle end-to-end inventory including ordering, warehousing, reconciliation, cost allocation and reporting, with collaboration across finance, production and project teams. Onsite in Alexandria with free parking; birthday leave is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse control, stores management, logistics, or supply chain.
• Experience in a small to medium-sized business or multi-department storeroom.
• Proven experience conducting physical stock counts and reconciling variances.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, warehouse, or accounting systems.
• Experience in supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support delivery of project timelines by ensuring stock is available when needed
• Management and reporting of inventory, stock visibility and stock accuracy
• Timely ordering of stock, componentry and consumables
• Maintaining stock levels in line with company policies
• Track movement of all stock items through entire lifecycle
• Overseeing factory deliveries and dispatch plus inbound and outbound movement of stock
• Daily stock management and monthly stocktake with timely documentation and reporting
• Collaboration with management, finance, production, project and factory teams
• Investigation of discrepancies
• Management of two inbound-outbound / factory staff members
• Assisting with forecasting
• Proactive adherence to all WHS requirements

About the role

The Stock Officer will play an important role for the company with management of warehouse stock, componentry and consumables.

Management includes entire lifecycle responsibility of inventory including ordering, warehousing, logistics, reconciliation, cost allocation, financial control and reporting.

This hands-on role requires constant factory floor presence and a high level computer skills, including experience with implementing inventory programs and systems that optimize stock control and real time stock visibility and accuracy.
