Job summary

BYD Haberfield, Harmony Group is seeking a Stock Controller and Business Analyst to manage vehicle stock records and sales data. You will prepare Excel reports, dashboards, and performance summaries while supporting the sales team with data-driven insights.

The role combines stock control duties with business analytics, requiring attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Stock Controller, data analysis, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, formulas).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience handling sales data and preparing analytical reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle stock, including new and used cars.
• Monitor vehicle movements between dealerships, storage locations, and customers.
• Perform regular stock checks to ensure all vehicles are accounted for.
• Update and maintain the inventory management system with current stock levels.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to track incoming stock and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage and maintain sales data records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Perform detailed data analysis to support business decisions and sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver Excel-based reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth sales operations.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and analysis.
