Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks on the Gold Coast is hiring a Kitchen Stewarding Captain to lead our back-of-house cleanliness and hygiene standards, supporting Food & Beverage operations to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You'll supervise the stewarding team, uphold food safety, coordinate cleaning duties, and train staff. The role requires flexibility across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, with competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding or kitchen operations
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety
• Leadership and mentoring ability
• Roster flexibility including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate the stewarding team to complete daily tasks to a high standard
• Coordinate and participate in cleaning duties to maintain spotless kitchen areas
• Enforce food safety and hygiene procedures and health standards
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage team to support service operations
• Assist with onboarding, training and upskilling of team members
