On Line Recruitment is sourcing a Steel Fixer for a major precast concrete project in the Shoalhaven area. Enjoy consistent hours and long-term local work through to December 2026, with pay at $55.00 per hour and a weekly pay cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steel Fixer in construction or precast manufacturing.
• Ability to read reinforcing plans.
• Current White Card and full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and plans.
• Cut, bend and tie reinforcing steel to specification.
• Assemble and install reinforcing cages for precast tilt panels.
• Position and secure reinforcement prior to concrete pours.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality standards while adhering to site safety procedures.

About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixer's to join our client's team on a major precast concrete project in the Shoalhaven Area.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent work on a large-scale project running through to December 2026, manufacturing up to 900 precast tilt panels. You'll be joining an experienced team in a safe, well-organised environment where quality workmanship and teamwork are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and plans
• Cut, bend and tie reinforcing steel to specification
• Assemble and install reinforcing cages for precast tilt panels

• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain quality standards while adhering to site safety procedures

About You

• Previous experience as a Steel Fixer within construction or precast manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret reinforcing plans
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Requirements

• Current White Card
• Previous steel fixing experience
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Full Australian working rights
