Job summary

Lte Structures Qld Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Steel Fixers for our Bundamba precast yard. You will prepare, position, and secure reinforcing steel from drawings to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities include assembling cages, tying into moulds, checking dimensions, and ensuring correct concrete coverage. Requires Steel Fixing experience with a strong safety focus and ability to travel to Bundamba daily.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Steel Fixing experience (precast experience highly regarded).
• A Certificate 3 in Steel Fixing is highly regarded but not mandatory.
• Ability to travel to and from Bundamba site for daily work.
• Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings and structural reo details.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.

• Maintain correct spacing and concrete coverage to meet engineering and compliance standards.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed reinforcement work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organised work environment.

We are seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our busy precast yard in Bundamba. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, positioning, and securing reinforcing steel for a range of precast concrete products, working from detailed drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality, accurate results.

You will work closely with our production team to assemble reinforcement cages to exact measurements, tie reinforcement and components directly into moulds, and ensure correct placement for adequate concrete coverage. This role requires precision, technical skill, and a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
