Job summary

On Line Recruitment is sourcing a Steel Fixer for a major precast concrete project in the Shoalhaven area. Enjoy consistent hours and long-term local work through to December 2026, with pay at $55.00 per hour and a weekly pay cycle.

Join an experienced team in a safe, well-organised environment where quality workmanship and teamwork are valued. You will read plans, fix reinforcement and contribute to a large-scale construction effort.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steel Fixer in construction or precast manufacturing.
• Ability to read reinforcing plans.
• Current White Card and full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and plans.
• Cut, bend and tie reinforcing steel to specification.
• Assemble and install reinforcing cages for precast tilt panels.
• Position and secure reinforcement prior to concrete pours.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality standards while adhering to site safety procedures.
