Reporting to the Station Manager, you'll be an integral part of Mt Hope Station's daily operations with livestock, cropping and general station duties. This role offers a diverse range of tasks.
This is an ongoing, full-time permanent role. We value practical experience but will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate, offering a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a diversified agricultural enterprise.
Livestock handing and husbandry, across all enterprises (sheep, goats, cattle), including yard work, drafting, processing, animal health activities, monitoring and feeding.
Operating farm equipment and machinery for seeding, spreading, spraying and other seasonal cropping related activities; including two-wheeled motorbikes and ATVs.
Weed, pasture and land management.
Maintaining accurate records using systems such as Agriwebb, Done Safe, AgWorld and John Deere Ops Centre.
Utilizing eIDs and platforms like Gallagher, Optiweigh and Tepari.
Machinery servicing, general workshop duties, repairs and maintenance.
General station infrastructure and asset maintenance, including fencing and water systems.
Contributing to a strong safety culture and safe work environment.

Practical experience in livestock operations and handling, with a strong interest in animal welfare.
Experience in operating agricultural machinery.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, demonstrating motivation and reliability.
Good communications and observation skills.
