Aufgaben

• Machine operation and driving (Tractors, Grader, Dozer)
• Machine maintenance
• Inspect, repair and maintain cattle yards, fences, gates, water systems, feeding equipment and other farm infrastructure
• Cattle duties; maintaining accurate records of livestock movements, feeding, treatments, health observations, and other farm activities
• Establish and maintain pastures, including undertaking weed control and pasture-improvement activities
• General yard work

We are family-owned mixed farming and grazing operation with properties in NSW and Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced and capable Farm Hand to join our team at Tawarri Pastoral Company, a pastoral property located approximately 27km from Merriwa NSW.

We are looking for a responsible and respectful team member who is keen to further their industry skills and experience.We require someone confident in low-stress stock handling and working across large-scale pastoral country. This role would suit someone looking to step into a solid position and be a key part of a well-run pastoral enterprise.

The candidates will ideally have the following:

Experience working with livestock with a passion in progressive and modern farming.

Competent with basic station infrastructure and maintenance tasks

Experience in pasture and general property management

An enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude to work

Excellent communication skills with good problem-solving skills

A great team player, with initiative and motivation to learn

Good all-round skills regarding livestock work, farm maintenance including plant, machinery, vehicles, and yard maintenance.

Responsible attitude and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Machine operation and driving (Tractors, Grader, Dozer)

Machine maintenance
