Job summary

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) in Victoria seeks a Team Leader, Planning and Environment Assessment – Major and State Projects to guide a statewide team delivering high-quality environmental and biodiversity advice for major and state projects. • Tertiary qualification in land use planning is desirable.
• Knowledge of the Victoria Planning Provisions is desirable.
• Experience in delivering land use planning advice for major developments or large infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of regional planning and environmental considerations for major projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a statewide team providing high-quality environmental and biodiversity advice for major and state projects.
• Represent the department in internal and external land use planning processes.
