Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of land use planning and the Victorian planning system.
• Experience providing land use planning advice for major developments or large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage approval inputs into environmental impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a statewide team delivering environmental and biodiversity advice for major/state projects.
• Represent DEECA in internal and external land use planning processes.
• Support leadership and workforce development to meet group and departmental priorities.

Education

Tertiary qualification in land use planning

Knowledge of Victoria Planning Provisions

Understanding of regional planning and environmental considerations

Experience delivering land use planning advice and managing EIA inputs
